National Center for Disaster Preparedness

The National Center for Disaster Preparedness (NCDP) at the Earth Institute in Colombia University, is a US based entity that aims to improve the nation’s capacity to prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters. NCDP combines research, policy work and education to provide the best thinking (and practices) in preparing and recovering from national disasters including: hurricanes, earthquakes, pandemic flu and terrorist attacks.
