“To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.” – The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
Life. The period between birth and death. The one thing that we can’t afford to be taken away from us by someone except our creator. The subject of all curiosity. The very reason why we exist.
Six more weeks and I will be able to complete my PULSE assignment here in Neno, Malawi – a life changing and extra ordinary experiece. Most of the time here in The Warm Heart of Africa, I usually ponder on some thoughts and questions about my existence, about my life.
Prove to those people who do not believe that I can do it, that they are wrong.
I plan to use this on my December story, but I can’t help myself to use this as early as now. Why? Because I consider December as the most wonderful time of the year. No bad vibes. No negative thoughts. And more importantly nothing bad happens on December.
Doubts. I still care for those people who doubted me. I hope that they will no longer do it to others. I am here not for them but for the people who believe that I can make a difference on other people’s lives. Volunteering is the highest form of human service as per my understanding. Being a PULSE volunteer is an achievement and a fulfilment of my purpose here on Earth. To those who do not believe that I can do it, you are my most cherished!
Why do people suffer? Is it because of the universe or the people themselves?
As an investment addict, I know one of Bill Gates familiar quotes: “If you are born poor, it’s not your mistake; but if you die poor, it’s your mistake.” This is a challenge to everyone. We need motivation in life to be successful. We cannot be the same person as yesterday. We need to improve and be the best version of our selves.
But we cannot deny the fact that there are still a lot of people around the globe who are still suffering. I mean all forms of sufferings. There are successful people in life despite all the obstacles. There are people who exerted all their efforts, with/without the help from others but still struggle/failed in life. So, tell me, why do they still suffer?
Life is a constant quest for happiness.
Are you happy today? What if someone or something give you an opportunity to be happier compare today? Will you accept it? Well I guess yes.
Life can be deceiving. We tend to believe that we can be happier if we choose another opportunity or situation thinking that it is far better than our current state of happiness. I blame you for nothing. I have been into these situations before.
Searching for happiness is endless. I usually equate happiness to success but not the other way around. People can be successful, but they are not happy. They all have the luxury in life but still happiness is not within them. Life is also unfair.
Tell me, what is happiness for you?
