Friday Night in Hanoi!

It’s Friday night in Hanoi.   How shall I spend my evening amongst 8 million other people.   How about go to a bar !     And that is what I did tonight.   I went to a local bar to do some journaling and reflect on my second week in Hanoi.  There is a local place just up the road that opened this week.   Happy Juice!     As I sat there enjoying my Watermelon and Mango SmoothieJourney I What is rightnotice they had phrases painted on the walls.    A journey or a thousand miles begins with a single step very fitting as I seat 7,326 miles from home.  What is right is not always popular and ………. “Don’t wait for the perfect moment take the moment and make it perfect”   …....”Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond to it”…. the pillows on the sofa even made a very accurate statement.  pillow

A perfect place to spend the evening reflecting on what has been a very effective week focused on understanding the Vietnam healthcare system and how to support the fight on HIV and TB the 2 leading causes of infectious disease deaths.   That’s it for now… the way the watermelon/mango smoothie was very refreshing.  I will be returning to Happy Juice… I also received a couple of request for a photo of me on my motorbike…..

So long for now…..have a great weekend.
