On July 4, I will begin my exciting new role as a PULSE Volunteer at The Bethel Hospice in Inglewood, ON. I will be familiarizing myself with the CARF accreditation process and guiding the organization, so that staff and volunteers are fully prepared for accreditation in March 2017
I am super excited but feeling pretty anxious too! I expect it will be a bumpy road, with curves, road blocks and lots of pot holes! One thing I know for sure it will be challenging, but then again with challenge comes opportunity. The opportunity to plant a seed, nurture it and watch it grow and be sustainable will be tremendously rewarding and gratifying. My Pulse Journey begins on July 4, follow my blog and I will keep you posted.
When I first read your post I thought you were describing PA roads! 🙂 In all seriousness, I am excited for you and the journey you are about to embark on. I look forward to lots of posts and updates about your experiences! Have fun!!
Deb, as you know, I am very excited about your journey, both for you personally and for the wisdom you will bring to Bethell Hospice. Good luck with your transition and yes, there will be potholes and turns that you don’t expect. I am looking forward to reading future blogs on your adventure. You and Bethell will be in my thoughts over the next six months.
