Trachoma Prevention

This third documentary that I have done for Amref Health Africa focuses upon the trachoma disease in Malawi and preventive treatment through mass drug administration. It was a great opportunity for me to follow members of my office in the field to witness what it is done by the local health facility in the south of the Lilongwe’s district, but most of all the first time for me to be face of the reality of life in small villages. This village was in the hills far from the main road and only accessible by 4×4, no electricity, no water. Look at the kids, their clothes are dirty and had holes, but they smile at me while shooting. Very emotional moment. I used my musician skills and my free time to compose the soundtrack. Watch the movie to know more about trachoma in Malawi.
