Getting Ready For A Thrilla in Manilla

Hi Everyone – My name is Maryanne McTighe from the Consumer Healthcare Dental Division. It’s great to be hearing from PULSE 2015 colleagues, and like you all, unbelievably exited to be here! My assignment is with Save the Children in the Philippines starting in June. I am so excited to get out there, particularly after hearing Andrew’s broadcast yesterday – even more inspired and excited about where we are heading. I am in Philadelphia this week for our orientation. What an honor it is to be included in this amazing talented group. We are all learning from each other and sharing our experiences from our lives in Canada, Philippines, United Arab Nation, England, India and the USA. The GSK Pulse team trainers are fabulous. Part of my motivation to do PULSE was to be able to help others truly living our values and understand what is really happening out there in terms of global health. I am beginning to understand the scope of my assignment and it's global impact. We work for such a fabulous company to give each of us this once in a lifetime opportunity. A huge thanks to the PULSE team for this incredible opportunity and also to Lucas, Susan, Vivian and Mike for your help, advice and insights with your experiences – it’s truly appreciated! Maryanne:)
