Houston…we have lift off!

MARS Project Website

I have finally finished and published my website on the MARS project.

The idea behind this website was to help people from other NGOs and schools that have heard of this project and approached me to ask me to run it in their schools. Since i’m only here for 6 months and can’t really afford the time to go to these schools too I decided to learn a new skill and design a website that would give a comprehensive overview of the project and provide people with all the info and tools necessary to run the workshop in their schools themselves!

Have a gander and let me know your thoughts….perhaps web design can now be added to the CV! ;o)

  1. Harshna, you have done a good job of the web design. You definitely should add to your cv. I really enjoyed looking at the website and the information it contains and the small clips you have incorporated in it. Hopefully other NGO’s will use this website and keep the MARS PROJECT live after your time in Kisumu comes to an end. You should be proud of yourself that you have helped those girls who otherwise would be missing school every month. Keep up the good work

    Love mum

  2. Good job, looks great – not a bad little photograph for the background, is it lake Nakuru? Hope some other teams crack on with this idea.

  3. Harsh the website is fantastic! It is very informative and set out in a very logical way!! Also, it is very nicely designed which makes looking through it very pleasant! I really hope other volunteers get to see it, I am sure it will be very useful for them!!
I really enjoyed looking through it!
