Six months have raced by, and today is the last day of my volunteer assignment at the Society. I can’t wait to see what I’ve helped develop for the 75th Anniversary ‘in market’ in 2013. It has been an amazing, life-changing experience that has opened my eyes in countless ways.
I will do my best to bring what I have learned back to GSK – a broader perspective is probably the most valuable thing I have taken away from this experience, and hopefully I can share this with others.
On a general note, the past six months has given me a greater appreciation for philanthropy and volunteerism. This is something which will live in me long after today.
